I truly believe that everyone can be an effective communicator!

 

I have a passion for helping people find their voice and express their ideas assertively.

 

I have been teaching communication skills and working with adults and students for over twenty years.  I know that it can be challenging to speak up.  That's why I love what I do. I am inspired every time I see a student surpass their own personal goals and find their assertive voice!

I served in the RI State Legislature for twenty years, as a State Senator and a State Representative, where I had the opportunity to practice what I teach.

I earned a Masters in Political Communication from Emerson College and a Bachelors in Communications and Political Science from RI College. 

 

My background allows me to bring a unique blend of practical experience and knowledge to clients.  I incorporate real world tips and techniques in my lessons.

 

In the small amount of free time that I have, I am an avid reader.  I believe that it helps me be a better speaker- after all, you need something to speak about!  
 

Most importantly, I am an eternal optimist who believes in living life with direction and purpose and plenty of travel...
